Ya Think?

Jessica Lange’s four bedroom Victorian in Stillwater, Minnesota is on the market for just under $2 million. Speaking to the New York Daily News, Ms. Lange said the town where they had lived and raised their children had “yuppified” over the nine years they were there, with now too many gift shops and condominiums.

Is it just me, or does a complaint about the “yuppification” of your hamlet ruining your pleasure in your four bedroom, (just under) $2 million home sound a bit….ummm, what's the word for it?….yuppified to you, too?

Ahhh, do I have this straight? A woman who has spend her entire life seeking celebrity is selling her MANSION in order to get back to a more simmple, small town existence? What bullshit.

Maybe she could take that $2 million house, break it up into four one bedroom condos and help with world with a smaller footprint for housing for eight people!

boohoo.

My husband said that if we lived the way I wanted to live, we'd be in a cardboard box.

Cardboard box, here I come. I'll be in the dunes under my cardboard thank you very much.

He's not cool with the idea of an organic farm retreat or an organic cafe.

Pity the fool.
