Slap Yo Momma

Okay, I'm fat. And possibly one of the reasons is that I've been craving (and eating) grilled sourdough cheese sandwiches, with a hint of red pepper for breakfast. I've been thinking about making a change, and today was the day. Breakfast: falafel (Tarazi gourmet falafel veggie burger mix was my short cut--and I used the last of it today) on whole-wheat pita, dressed with tomato, lettuce, and raita, with a side of canteloup, hummus, and a dollop of cilantro chutney. And a few Kalamata olives.

Not that anybody cares what I ate for breakfast, and it's not exactly diet food, but I'm just saying...stop by. Bring the Tarazi mix and I'll make breakfast for you, anytime.

Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you about the Mississippi kites, which you do not eat. Though they may eat you.

That falafel sounds pretty dang good-and healthy. I'd take you up on breakfast, but I think I will be at home being served soggy toast and dry eggs in bed by my children

Sounds yummmmmmy, and definitely more nutritious than the sourdough and cheese (although that sounds yummmmmmy too).

We're going to have fresh watermelon spritzers tomorrow and then go see The Wedding Singer (the musical) in the afternoon.

My hubby got us tickets...isn't that sweet? My Mother's Day miracle.

Now if we could just get along! (six of one, half dozen of the other. at. all. times.) =)

I would stop by for any of those breakfast options.

you are not fat! your body is just out of kilter. it was 2 weeks ago that my doc told me to lose weight and then i had the divine intervention from hell with the tooth for motivation.

i haven't stepped on the scale but i did the tape measurement. 5 inches. yes, 5 inches down from 2 weeks when i was so sick.

you are not fat. your body is just out of kilter.
