Blind Belief

she: I haven't been able to find the digital camera. I decided to look in the cabinet for the umpteenth time before I took on the trashed-out room upstairs. I took out the box in the front. I took out the box. I. took. out. the. box.

he:

she: the camera box. In the front of the cabinet. The camera wasn’t just chunked in the cabinet. It was in the box. The camera box. Where it’s been the whole time…

He: …violating your principles of organization.

I love that strange feeling that comes when something is right in front of me in the most logical way and my mind misses it. It feels really special and I start to imagine that I can slip between planes of reality and that I have been on an adventure in a reality that does not rely on such tedious logic as this. At that moment of recognition, when I realize I have seen past the thing, I get a tingling in my forehead that feels cool...it's like reality plane hopping brainfreeze. Way cooooool. :))

Oh...I like your view. I was thinking in terms of, you know, T R U T H, and how if you are thinking in one way, it is a different universe where what you are seeking isn't available to you....but really, when you 'see' what you've been overlooking, it is way cooooool. Thanks for furthering my view.

I sometimes disappoint myself by just stumbling through life without noticing individual moments and beauty. I have to remind myself to really see...consciously see all the good stuff around and in front of me.
